Refund policy

Please note that our collection consists of vintage and antique items that naturally show signs of age, use, and general wear and tear. These characteristics are what make each piece unique.

By purchasing, you acknowledge that imperfections such as scratches, fading, or other marks of age are to be expected and do not qualify as defects or damage.If possible it is best to come in person to inspect the goods. 

Cancellation after dispatch:

Should a customer wish to cancel an order after a dispatch notification has been received and before delivery they must put in writing to mary@derrys.com as soon as possible. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of £50 to cover handling and shipping costs incurred. This will be deducted from refund which will be issued within 5 days of cancellation.

Returns: We accept returns only under specific circumstances, such as when an item has been significantly misrepresented. This does not include items that naturally show signs of age, use, and general wear and tear. Requests for returns must be made within 24 hours of receiving the item.

Refunds

If the item is faulty contact mary@derrys.com to check if its eligible for return. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it,unused, and in its original packaging. 

The item must be posted via a fully insured and trackable service. The buyer is responsible for the return postage unless damaged or miss shipped.

We do not accept responsibility for returned items lost or damaged in transit so please make sure they are packaged correctly and are covered by the courier.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at mary@derrys.com.
