Antique Victorian Brass Ferris Wheel Condiment Server

A charming late 19th to early 20th century Victorian novelty sweetmeat server, modeled in the form of a miniature Ferris wheel. This eccentric and highly decorative piece features a heavy ornate Rococo-style openwork frame, embellished with scrolling foliage, fleur-de-lis flourishes and elegant out curved feet.

The central wheel is mounted on an axle and spins smoothly, creating an entertaining and interactive serving piece. The individual compartments are fitted with diamond-point cut glass presentation bowls, designed to display sweets, candies, nuts, dried fruits or condiments.
