An elegant early 20th century French shop display cabinet, combining glazed display panels with richly decorative metalwork and a mahogany base.
The cabinet features classical-style brass detailing to the upper section and corners, including ornate corner mounts that give the piece a refined architectural character. The front and sides are fully glazed, allowing excellent visibility of displayed items, while the door retains a functional lock.
Internally, the cabinet is fitted with three height-adjustable glass shelves, each supported on brass brackets, making it suitable for displaying a wide range of objects.
The glazed upper section sits on a mahogany base with a single drawer, finished with a traditional brass cup handle and raised on small brass feet. The combination of aged brass, glass and warm mahogany gives the cabinet a particularly attractive period appearance.
A striking and practical piece, ideal for use in a retail setting, jewellery or watch display, gallery, hotel, restaurant, private collection or as a statement display cabinet in a residential interior.
