Pair of Large Oriental-Style Floral & Bird Decorated Floor Vases

An impressive pair of large oriental-style ceramic floor vases, richly decorated throughout with a colourful combination of floral, foliate and bird motifs.

Each vase has a tall baluster form with a slender neck, flared rim and gently rounded shoulder, creating an elegant and well-balanced silhouette. The decoration is particularly detailed, with dense red floral sprays, green scrolling foliage, blue and gilt-style borders, painted bird panels and calligraphic cartouches arranged across the body and neck.

The main panels feature traditional bird and flower scenes, framed by sweeping blue and yellow decorative scrollwork, while the upper sections are finished with further floral patterning and ornamental bands. The overall effect is highly decorative, colourful and distinctly oriental in character.

With their substantial scale and matching design, the pair would make a striking statement in a large hallway, entrance, hotel, restaurant, reception area or other decorative interior setting.
